Student Government Elections : How is Echo promising to be the voice of the francophone students?

It’s no secret that in cdl, the francophone and anglophone section are separated, kept mostly in separate buildings, and never interacting with one another. When it comes to most decisions or school events, they are mostly tailored towards to anglophone section, and the francophones are often forgotten.

With student government elections coming up, echo is mainly marketing towards the francophone students, promising to be “the voice the section needs” and to ensure that the francophones will no longer be forgotten or left behind.

Some of their claims are that they will:

  • Add a voting box in eiger
  • Try to include the francophones more in activities
  • Give the francophones students the same privileges and the anglophone students

These claims have really stuck with the francophone section, and it looks like on voting day, Echo is already guaranteed their votes.
