Manchester City have been found guilty on 114 out of 115 charges and are set to appeal to court by Friday October the second

With Manchester City standing on top of one of, maybe even the biggest football league in the world, with 15 points out of a possible 15 the Manchester club seems to be giving out a seemingly perfect start to the season.
However, behind this perfect start Man City have been found guilty with basically all charges on broken financial fairplay rules. Even with around 40 million $ (30.6 million £) spent on legal defense, Manchester City failed to defend against these claims that see them breaking 54 counts;
These counts include 54 counts on failing to provide financial information between 2009 and 2018, 35 counts on failing to corporate with league investigations between 2018 and 2023, 14 counts on failing to provide accurate player and manager payment details between 2009 and 2018, 7 counts on breaching premier league profit and sustainability rules (PSR) between 2015 and 2018 and finally breaching UEFA financial fair play (FFP) rules between 2013 and 2018. As you can see these charges are for rather serious causes spanning over a relatively long period of time that could see them face point deductions, expulsion and/relegation from the premier league, stripping of titles won during that time period and financial fines / transfer bans, but the consequences Manchester City face are still to be discussed in the near future as they must first of all wait for the appeal to take place.

On this matter Pepe Guardiola, Manchester City’s manager since 2016, leading them to 20 titles including; 6 premier leagues, 1 champions leagues, 1 club World Cup and 3 FA cups, has posted a message of support towards the players, staff and fans across the world.
“We will get through this together. I love you all” – Pep Guardiola
While Manchester City continue their impressive run on the pitch in pursuit of dethroning the gunners from last season’s Premier League Title, they face uncertainties in their future in England’s top tier. These upcoming weeks will prove to be decisive in their future and one question remains; “how will this case affect City’s form on the pitch itself and will they manage to survive the pressure to keep up their impressive form”
